rawa is an intimate dining experience located in the heart of Byron Bay. Every fortnight a four course set menu is specially prepared using local, fresh, seasonal ingredients. Every menu is thoughtfully planned and every plate carefully presented, taking your palate on a gastonomic journey in a cosy and candlelit atmosphere.
Chef Pedro Andrade, born in Ecuador and residing in Byron Bay for the last decade, brings his 13 years of culinary expertise to his first standalone project – rawa. Honing his skills as a chef at the esteemed Le Cordon Bleu school of culinary arts, Pedro has since worked in many venues around the world and locally in Byron Bay including Rae’s on Wategoes, Elements of Byron, The Fig Tree and Barrio. His unique style of cooking brings together a fusion of cuisines including South American, Mediterranian, Asian and Modern Australian.
